This painting is inspired by my love for nature, the ocean and trees. Living in the foothills, I walk daily in our national park surrounded by these magic trees, which are rendered here with intense, textured impasto that brings their form to life. The artwork features a soft but vibrant coastal palette of blues, metallic turquoise, pinks, whites, metallic golds, and deep blues, capturing the ethereal beauty of the coastal trees. I've used a soft white mist effect like sea spray in the background.  This one looks much better in real life as hard to capture all its detail and texture. Painted around the edges ready to hang.
