This is my second sunflowers painting with 3 sun flowers the first I did just one central flower. This painting was inspired purely to bring happy vibes to your home. Also I am lacking in sunshine at the moment and these flowers remind me of the sun. I love the vibrant warm yellow hues with the contrast of the deep brown and the metallic golds of the centre of the flower. This painting I have ramped up the textures and really pops off the canvas. The background is a base of sky blue with deep blues, turquoise, greeny blues, greens, pinks and whites. I will be now creating a series of sunflowers to bring joy and smiles to ones home or office.
