This Outback Australia Gum Trees textured painting was inspired by my travels across the heart of Australia. From ages 19 to 25, I explored most of the country by camper van, even climbing the iconic Uluru. This artwork captures the essence of those journeys; the burnt earthy orange landscape reflects the vast outback terrain, while the blue splatters symbolise the infrequent yet rejuvenating rain and water runoffs. The background is textured with a very vibrant sunset feel of burnt oranges, reds, , yellows, sky blues, turquoise and metallic golds. The trees are very textured but do not show up well in the photos. The close up photos shows the bark textures. Painted around the edges ready to hang. These textured paintings always look better in real life vs a photo.
