This is a new version of my still life flowers in a vase in cream, white and soft yellow hues with a moody black background with splashes of bright colours. Its more of a classic black and white contemporary painting. If you love TEXTURE this one delivers. Inspired by my love of nature and also textures. Flowers are such a happy subject and also a beautiful uplifting feature for ones space. Background is of a mix of blacks, blues, turquoise, pinks, greens, white, metallic silver and gold. The gold vase is textured with a white wash which enhances its textured pattern. Painted around edges. The painting looks much better in real life this one is hard to photograph, the close ups give you a better idea of its satin finish and textures.
