This is another version of my flowering gum leaves. This painting was simply inspired by going for a morning run and I saw a beautiful flowering gum tree and loved how the branches hung. The background colours were inspired by my outback travels through the centre of Australia and living in Darwin. I love the richness of this painting the vibrant burnt oranges, reds, blues, pinks, yellows and gold, also reflects the outback soil and outback sunsets. The branches, leaves and flowers are also inspired by line or lino art. Background is textured too. Painted around the edges ready to hang. This one is a real show stopper, statement piece.
