COMMISSION. Inspired by my love of nature. Living in the foothills we are so lucky to get these Blue Wrens (Fairy Wrens) dancing in our backyard. They are a real joy to watch and put a smile on any ones face. This painting is heavily textured both background and the bird. Ive used metallic golds for a abstract contemporary look and feel. Also in the textural background I have used silver foils that reflect nicely in the light. These guys are very much loved around Australia. This painting is very hard to photograph all the details and looks much better in real life.
