I just LOVE Blue Wrens. I am so lucky to get these birds in my garden. This year we have so many of them and the cute red hooded finches. I always put fruit out to attract the bugs and then I watch the Blue Wrens play and feast. This painting is an abstract - modern textural take on these beautiful Australian birds. The metallic golds pick up nicely in the light with a background that represents the sky and speckled flowers in ones garden . Ive used lots of colours for that fresh garden feel with pinks, yelllows, blues, greens, yellows and whites. My art always look better in real life as hard to pick up all the textures and details.
