This style of painting was inspired by my latest trip to Queensland and our own limestone coast in SA where the hills meet the ocean. This is also a very uplifting vibrant piece and super textural that brings a happy tropical beach vibe to ones home. Ive used metallic golds to represent the sand and coastal blues for the water. The white wash brings out the textures too . Ive used a different chunkier texture for the water and a salmon hue for the sunset. View the close ups to see the true textures.
