LLOVE textures this one delivers. This is another version of my Beach Reeds inspired painting with a sandy path way between the reeds. Inspired by my weekend at my friends beach house at Carrickalinga, Fleurieu Peninsula SA. We walked on the beach and I said to them I see a painting so when I returned home I created an abstract take on what I saw. I have taken the photo in the sun to catch its textures. This painting I have used a softer palette to my usual bright coastal artworks introducing soft olive greens, sky blues, pinks and beige. This painting represents the sky, ocean and the reeds.
